The Network Engineer III provides bank-wide support for all information systems used throughout the Company. Installs and maintains the Company's wide area network (WAN), local area networks, (LAN) and other IS components. Provides training, education and general support in the use of personal computers, software and cyber security.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Configure, implement and support technologies that sustain the overall health and security of the network, the servers and the LAN/WAN infrastructure of the company.
Responsible for administering the Bank's telecommunications systems, including voice and computer data services. Manages the configuration, purchase, setup, and installation of bank-wide communications equipment. Works with outside vendors to recommend systems improvements and upgrade
Perform the day-to-day operations, management and administration to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets and technology infrastructures of the organization including managing: DNS, anti-virus, anti-malware, anti- phishing techniques,etc.
Responsible for support, upgrades and escalation of issues to 3rd party systems utilized by various departments. Including: Retail Online, Business Online, Loan Processing, Trust, Exchange, Sharepoint, etc.
Assist in the development of guidelines for administration and security best practices.
Works closely with Information Systems Manager to implement new technology projects.
Provides escalation support for the help desk incidents. Responsible for logging problems, providing assistance, scheduling repairs or on-site assistance.
Completes extensive troubleshooting and diagnosis for network/server or system related issues and recommends effective, cost-conscious solutions. Escalates issues to the IS Manager when necessary.
Responsible for installation of software and hardware.
Provide group or one-on-one training for various programs.
Cross-sell bank products and services in a professional manner.
Completed required training associated with job function.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field with advanced training in specific hardware and software elements required

Experience:
3-5 years of experience required.

Skills:
Interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, that will allow good communication to a diverse range of individuals with various levels of computer skills.
Ability to deal with user problems in a professional manner and demonstrate familiarity with hardware/software and with general banking issues.
Strong technical skills.
Familiarity with banking applications.
Experience with network operating systems and PC based operating system.
May be required to work earlier, later or longer than the normal work day.
Adequate knowledge of both internal policies and procedures and the respective state and federal laws and regulations governing departmental functions to ensure performance of individual job duties within the proper control environment.
