Willamette Management Associates (A Citizens Company) is seeking talented candidates interested in a growth opportunity as a business valuation Director .
This position is responsible for managing and expanding a multimillion-dollar business valuation and litigation support practice. This practice focuses on business and intangible asset valuations for tax compliance, corporate planning, and financial reporting purposes. This practice also focuses on business valuations, forensic accounting, and damages measurement services related to business and divorce litigation.
Position Responsibilities
+ Responsible for executing and managing client engagements, including complex business and intangible asset valuations performed for tax compliance, corporate planning, and financial reporting purposes.
+ Involves taking the lead on litigation matters, conducting site interviews, writing and reviewing reports and damage reports.
+ The position is responsible for assisting in business development and new client generation, primarily to attorneys and business owners. Clients includes major law firms, boutique law firms and corporate general counsel
+ Responsible for recruiting and training staff analysts, supervising business valuation and forensic analysis engagements, maintaining practice quality control, and achieving practice revenue growth.
Experience Requirements+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in business valuation and/or forensic accounting.
+ Expert testimony experience or expert report writing experience is beneficial.
Education:+ Bachelor’s Degree required. MBA is preferred.
+ Preferred candidate will be a CPA, CFA, or PhD economist.
+ Preferred candidate will also hold CVA, ABV and or ASA.
