The Product Support and Logistics Division (PSLD) is one of the most innovative divisions within Caterpillar. As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Team Leader (Kitting) you will lead the execution of Business Unit focused NPI projects, establish project plans and use the NPI process to manage delivery of Kitting solutions. This position works across work groups and product lines to bring Kitting solutions through the NPI process in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities:

+ Manages NPI projects to ensure they are on time, within budget, and aligned with the product strategy

+ Assists in prioritizing NPI projects based on enterprise impact and objectives

+ Assists in assembling the business case for project requests

+ Builds relationships & collaborates with other departments

+ Identifies areas of focus for continuous improvement

+ Other duties as assigned by Caterpillar management from time-to-time

Basic Requirements:

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher OR At least 5 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or Customer/Dealer Support

+ Project management or project leadership experience

+ The ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time

Top Candidates will also have:

+ Knowledge of company products and NPI process

+ Previous experience working with and influencing diverse groups to reach consensus

Additional Information:

+ This position does offer relocation

+ Our team embraces flexibility through a hybrid work model. In addition to working onsite at one of our PSLD locations, our hybrid work model allows employees flexibility to work from home depending on business need
