Your Impact:

Join our team as an Associate Level Environmental Data Management (EDM) Specialist, where you’ll coordinate and perform EDM work for industrial and government clients. You’ll collaborate with multi-discipline teams and apply innovative technology to architect and deliver complex technical solutions. In addition, you’ll work on tool development and implementation with Jacobs teams globally, while ensuring work quality and adhering to project plans. You should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years of experience in environmental data management, and experience with EQuIS software, complex databases, as well as working knowledge of programming platforms and digital workflows. Our Associate Level Environmental Data Management Specialists:

+ Tool development and implementation with Jacobs teams globally (such as in USA, Canada, Europe, and Asia Pacific region).

+ Possess the competency to work on all phases of data management.

+ Contribute to the implementation, adoption, and development of data management best practices.

+ Review work (QA/QC).

+ Contribute to actual work delivery.

+ Can work in a dynamic team environment with scientists, planners, engineers, and technologists.

+ Display attributes of a strong consultant (collaborator, eagerness to learn and grow, initiative-taker, versatile, and has a client service mentality).

+ Develop and implement project plans, work assignments, and ensure product quality, on-schedule, on-budget, and safely

Typical salary range for this position is $81,100 – $106,500 and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Computer Science, Biology, Geology, Engineering, Geography, or related discipline.

+ 5+ years of experience in environmental data management, chemistry, analytical data validation, groundwater modeling, data analysis and/or visualization.

+ Experience coding in VBA and/or SQL.

+ Experience with environmental software implementations in a consulting/industrial environment.

+ Experience using EQuIS software with knowledge of EQuIS modules such as SPM, Collect, and Enterprise.

· Experience setting up field teams for mobile data collection using EQuIS Collect, Collector for ArcGIS, Survey123, Fast Field, and Trimble GPS equipment a plus.

+ Experience in database management and familiarity with a variety of development platforms like Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Visual Studio, Visual Basic for Applications, HTML, Java/JavaScript, Python, and R.

+ Understanding of digital workflows ranging from project planning, mobile data collection and data engineering, to data warehousing, database management, data analysis, and data visualization.

Knowledge Preferences:

+ Knowledge in one or more other COTS EDM and EHS software packages such as, EQuIS, ESdat, ENFOS, Enablon, and Intelex.

· Knowledge or some experience of business intelligence tools like MS Power BI and R Shiny.

· Knowledge with RDMS such as MS SQL Server: the ability to design and customize database schemas, as well as write SQL scripts for data extraction and transformation.

+ Knowledge with ESRI GIS software use.
