Job Description
Synergy55 LLC in Schaumburg, IL, seeks an IT Lead – Pricing/Price Rebates to implement and support specific business applications and maintain the relationship between business users and technology, applying understanding of SAP’s processes and configuration related to SD-Pricing, Chargebacks, Incentives Administration, Customer and Vendor rebates.
Lead the Price Support team through build, testing and deployment phases of SAP/Vistex implementation.
- Meet with business process leaders, consultants and other functional and technical leads to understand business requirements in order to develop Vistex functionality.
- Facilitate workshops, design sessions and gap analysis based on business requirements.
- Analyze Vistex configuration as it relates to business processes.
- Develop functional specifications, configuration documentation, and testing scripts.
- Ensure regular and seamless communication with business leaders and management regarding target goals, measures and status updates.
Validate and streamline the business process related to SAP/Vistex functionality.
- Influence business process leaders to adhere to standard system functionality, as opposed to making customizations based on business processes.
- Educate stakeholders and project team members on system functionality and best practices.
- Advocate for end-user adoption and improvements in usability.
Coordinate business sign offs and deployment strategy.
- Partner with business leaders to achieve alignment on the implementation and deployment approach.
- Serve as mediator in situations where defects and functionality are disputed.
- Vet deficits and associate resolutions based on business value.
- Roll out SAP by region/location.
Stabilize business processes and leverage SAP/Vistex investment.
- Establish release strategy for support and projects. Work to establish the process to prioritize IT work efforts for Vistex and implement them into production.
- Implement a solid system that executes without much intervention so that IT can focus support efforts on value added enhancements that support growth initiatives.
- Create business cases in the support of IT project spend request.
- Keep up to date with improvements in the SAP landscape related to pricing and Vistex. Make recommendations to the business on how these improvements will benefit their particular processes.
- Develop roadmap of projects based on organizational needs.
- Evaluate technology products and appropriate methodologies.
Perform job duties using a variety of tools and technologies including SAP ABAP, SAP Pricing, Vistex, Price Support, Chargebacks, and VIZI Price Guidance.
Position is based at the Company headquarters located in Schaumburg, Illinois. Employee may work remotely from anywhere in the United States.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or closely related field and 5 years post baccalaureate progressive SAP system design, configuration, implementation, and testing experience including at least 3 years of experience with Vistex and ABAP, and two full life-cycles of SAP implementation.
