Job Description
The Office of Public Utilities, Electric Division, in conjunction with the Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) will be hiring for the Substation Electrician Apprentice position(s). Duties include, but not limited to possessing the ability to install, troubleshoot and repair high voltage transmission and distribution equipment. Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions and at heights above ground and in underground vaults and manholes. Must be able to work on or near energized high voltage equipment while utilizing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
