Job Description
Blackbuck Insights, LLC is seeking Systems Analyst to gather and analyze computer systems requirements, procedures, and problems to automate/improve existing systems and review systems capabilities, workflow. Analyze, test and maintain computer applications. Prepare, standardize and review software requirements specification documentation, technical, and system design documentation. Utilize different languages and databases such as Unix Shell Scripting, Python, Perl scripting, Oracle, Teradata, Excel macros and Ab Initio. Write technical documentation, specification, and proposals. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S. May telecommunicate and work remotely from any location in the United States.
Required Skills & Experience:
Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology or a related field. Must have at least one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in the related occupation of Data Engineer, Consultant, Software Engineer, or equivalent. In lieu of a master’s degree and one (1) year of experience, the employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or a foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Technology or a related field followed by five (5) years of progressive work experience in the related occupation of Data Engineer, Consultant, Software Engineer, or equivalent.
Special Requirements:
Must have One (1) year experience using Unix Shell Scripting, Python, Perl scripting, Oracle, Teradata, Excel macros and Ab Initio. Travel and relocation possible to unanticipated client locations throughout the U.S.
