Position Purpose:
This position works independently with the Technical team to support projects at Veolia, Sauget IL
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
+ On the Job Training
+ Learn about Federal and State EPA /DOT environmental regulations and reviewing of paperwork
+ Utilize internal systems to Receive material into facility
+ Hands on experience with EPA systems, such as Emanifest
+ Shadow Department leads in Lab and learn basic analysis and compositing of samples, standard preparation and method development
+ Other duties as assigned .
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
+ Coursework in accounting or math.
+ HS Diploma or G.E.D recommended
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
+ Strong Verbal and Written Communication Skills
+ Ability to Work Well with Others
+ Willingness to Learn New Skills and Technologies
