We have an opportunity for a National Sales Manager join our Commercial & Infrastructure Flow (CIF) business, leading the North America sales team for our municipal water supply and disposal pumps category. In this senior sales manager role, you will develop & execute sales strategies to grow the assigned product lines. You will utilize knowledge of municipal water and wastewater treatment market, as well as strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate a highly engaged sales team focused on driving sales through dedicated channel partners, such as major distributors, engineering firms, and key end-users, with the goal to influence project specifications and drive sustainable profitable growth.

You will:
Develop and execute the Municipal Market Sales Growth Business Plan to meet and exceed key sales growth objectives.
Drive, monitor, and follow-up on sales team activities and market penetration through coaching and mentoring with proven selling strategies.
Review complex project sales terms and conditions to identify and mitigate risk to the business.
Develop and maintain relationships with internal departments through communication of customer situations, opportunities, and overall market conditions.
Cultivate long-term, sustainable, value-based relationships with our channel partners to ensure strong brand loyalty.

Key Qualifications:
Have earned a Bachelor's (B.A. or B.S.) degree.
Have 10+ years of professional experience in the municipal water and wastewater treatment industry, with at least 7+ years managing, driving, or supporting long sales cycle projects.
Have 3+ years of experience directly managing people with demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to provide constructive feedback to team members to support continuous improvement and positive behavioral change.
Experience reviewing complex legal terms and conditions related to large capital projects as well as experience in price negotiation/costing & competitive analysis.
Effective internal consulting skills along with the ability to positively influence others in a desired direction to achieve identified outcomes without direct lines of authority.
Experience utilizing relevant sales tools and software, such as Salesforce or other CRM.

Travel:
Up to 60%, including overnight, to meet with distributors, end-users, sales team members, and/or manufacturing site and functional leadership teams.
