Electrical Systems Technician
Job Description:
Responsibilities
+ Develop electrical system requirements in collaboration with cross-functional teams for various fire equipment vehicles
+ Develop and release electrical system components in the company production system
+ Create, organize, and document bills of material for electrical systems on Fire Apparatus
+ Work with outside suppliers on component feasibility, development, and integration
+ Provide build support at various stages throughout the product development cycle

+ Associates in Electrical Engineer/Technology
+ Hands on mechanical trouble shooting/12V Electrical Systems
Required Qualifications
+ Education in Electrical Engineering or other relevant discipline
+ 0-3 or more years of vehicle electrical system design, integration, or testing experience
+ Experience with electrical component development, wiring harnesses, schematics, and a good understanding of software/hardware interaction
+ Demonstrated experience managing project deliverables
+ Knowledge of general product development processes
+ Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively
+ Provide clear concise oral/written communication
+ Ability to work off-shift hours, as needed, to support production during builds
