Financial Services - Financial Crime Fraud Technical Project Manager

Job Description:
As a Technical Project Manager in Crowe's Financial Crime Analytics and Technology Practice, your role will be focused on helping clients implement fraud technology solutions with outcomes that meet regulatory expectations. This role is responsible for managing the implementation of fraud systems, including Fraud Detection and Case Management.. The individual will have experience with managing technical projects and a background which includes the understanding of fraud prevention goals and detection mechanisms.

This role will manage the execution of medium to large scale financial crime implementation engagements, and will be responsible for project planning, status reporting, budgeting, and managing Crowe resources, while providing financial crime and technical subject matter expertise. The activities the role will execute and/or oversee will include project management and advisory, business requirement gathering, selecting or defining fraud detection scenarios, , , tuning / optimization, and testing.

Qualifications:
* 5+ years' experience managing fraud system implementation projects
* Demonstrated knowledge of fraud prevention techniques from working at financial institutions and/or financial crime professional services / consulting.
* Experience implementing at least one major vendor Fraud Prevention/Detection system (e.g. Actimize, Guardian Analytics
* Experience working in a project-based environment managing full lifecycle technical projects
* Experience managing a team of professionals and/or consultants
* Skilled at collaborating and developing partnerships with clients, prospects, and colleagues
* Strong writing, analytical, problem solving, and communication skills and the ability to multi-task and complete projects on time
* Willingness to travel 40% or more annually, if needed

Preferences:
* Experience implementing, consulting on, or using fraud detection and prevention systems such as Actimize, Guardian, Verafin
* Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), or other relevant professional certification
* Experience with SQL, and data analytics,
