Come intern for one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world. The Programmable Solutions Group summer internship program is an immersive experience for students looking to build their technical skill and learn about Intel.
About the Programmable Solutions Group:
PSG is responsible for Intel’s programmable logic devices and forms part of Intel’s Data Platform’s Group.
The successful incumbent for this role will perform the following responsibilities but not limited to:
+ Create, define, and develop system validation plans and test suites for DRAM memory interfaces validation and IO subsystem and PCIe sub subsystem validation on Intel FPGA product lines.
+ Develop test methodologies, execute validation plans, debug root cause of failures.
The position requires an understanding of multiple system areas and requires interfaces with Architecture, Design, and Pre-silicon Validation teams in triaging and root causing failures and improving validation coverage.
Position duration: 6 months to 1 year.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
+ The candidate must be pursuing a Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field.
+ 6+ months experience in or equivalent coursework in the following areas: RTL Design or Verilog, or VHDL.
+ ASIC Design/ or Circuit design or CMOS circuit design or VLSI design.
+ Computer Architecture.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Signal integrity and Power integrity fundamentals.
+ Experience FPGA Architecture.
+ Scripting Python or TCL.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $63,000.00-$166,000.00
*Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
