Job Description
Job location –Rosemont, IL-Hybrid position with some telecommuting flexibility, but requirement to physically be in Rosemont, IL office occasionally/as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building and extending evolving continuous delivery technology platforms with the goal of moving changes to production faster and safer, while ensuring operational best practices are supported. 10%
- Collaborate with architects, engineers and developers to deliver solutions. Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining production systems, including: release management, automation, system maintenance, and configuration and use of source code management systems and code build systems. 10%
- Uses knowledge of technology and operational best practices to drive the design, development and implementation of operational standards and capabilities for connected services that enable highly available, scalable and reliable customer experiences 5%
- Responsible for understanding and facilitating the validation, packaging, and delivery of development items to various target environments. 10%
- Creates, develops, and manages the deployment architecture for applications. Develops monitoring architecture and implementing monitoring agents, dashboards, escalations and alerts. 5%
- Develop or receive designs for changes to systems. Works with external vendors or other teams to ensure the correct design and implementation of components that require external interfaces. 10%
- Operational point of contact for development, operations and testing. Oversees change management and configuration management operating mechanisms 5%
- Support development team and development processes, including user management, automated testing, and environment configuration. 10%
- Investigates new technologies and software packages that can be applied to improve the development / build / release processes, Understand underlying salesforce data structure to map and load data from Cloud to different data source systems. 10%
- Understand where automation can be applied to various aspects of Salesforce to gain organizational savings. 10%
- Improve user experience, reliability, and performance, introducing new Products and Technologies, and using it with Salesforce DevOps. Tools like Gearset and AutoRabit 10%
- Use technology and operational best practices to drive the design, development and implementation of operational standards and capabilities for connected services that enable highly available, scalable and reliable customer experiences. 5%
