Sustainability Project Manager

Project:

Worldwide sustainability team reporting. Any disclosures to specifics ESG or rankings and benchmarks

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
• Oversees all aspects of projects/program.
• Sets deadlines assigns responsibilities and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
• Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
• May require a bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts practices and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Performs a variety of tasks.
• Leads and directs the work of others.
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
• Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.

Daily Schedule:

• Support HM from PM standpoint with workstreams that are overseen
• Part of 2-3 big work streams, and will be supporting by scheduling connects, follow ups and intaking information for reports
• Working with HM at a partnership standpoint to craft publications or disclosures.
• Connecting with external and internal stakeholders, while being a part of the conversations conducted.
• Will have independence to oversee part of the program by themselves as well.

Requirements:?

• 4-7 years experience as a Project Manager
• 4-7 years experience working within a corporate setting
• 4-7 years ofSustainability/ESG experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
• Good project management skills - keep projects going, interactions with stakeholders etc.
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent communication - emails, phone, in-person meetings, etc. (conversing with people L4-L10).
• Experience with ESG Reporting (Environmental, Social, Governance) ESG = Sustainability.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PM IT Tools
• Bachelor's Degree or higher education (will waive Bachelor's Degree if work experience is additional 4 years in sustainability/ESG.

Other Details:

• Location - open to remote, on-site in Chicago, or on-site at one of company's other hubs.
• Contract Duration: 11 months
• Pay Rate: $40-55/hr
