Role Snapshot
Our Senior Data Analyst will provide leadership in creation and delivery of innovative data analysis to identify existing and future opportunities for operational insight in our Government Health Administration (Medicare) line of business. This role would identify existing issues and support divisional strategies of process and technology innovation and profitable growth through the adoption of new industry analytical approaches to ensure continued quality improvement. This also includes mentoring less experienced staff members in analyzing, interpreting, and visualizing claims, clinical data, and customer service data from various sources and recommending best approaches for intervention.
The GHA InSight Data Analysis Team delivers better, faster, and more informed business decisions to stakeholders by finding the optimal intersection between Medicare's "big data", data analysis, and modeling to fit customer needs.
What you will do as a Senior Data Analyst:
Create, test, and deploy new innovative and efficient models, reports, and analyses.
Assist in ad hoc data requests for operational areas and their Medicare contract requirements, as necessary.
Present data findings to various levels of staff and collaborate on outcomes.
Mentor and consult with teammates related to approach, tools, and code necessary for completion of customer requests.
Act as a subject matter expert regarding healthcare claims data and analytical approaches for customers and teammates.
Take lead on complicated projects to ensure requests are completed efficiently and accurately in accordance with contract requirements.
Research, recommend, and master new industry analytical techniques and business intelligence tools.
Contribute at a high level to relevant workgroup meetings and pursue opportunities to lead.
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvement changes to existing processes.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience
1 year of related work experience.
Highly Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Statistics or related field or equivalent post high school and/or related work experience.
3 or more years in a clinical or business data analytics role.
