The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Associate Deputy Director of Quality Assurance Administration. Subject to management approval, this position will direct, plan, develop, implement, and manage all processes associated with qualitative case reviews and will monitor to ensure that Quality Assurance programs and operations are consistent with the agency’s goals, objectives, and mission. The position will participate in and contribute to the coordination of the development of the five-year Child and Family Services Plan (CFSP) and the Annual Progress and Services Report. This position will also confer, collaborate, and provide leadership to the Administration for Children and Families Region V Program Specialist to ensure maximum outcomes for the Department and compliance with all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate for this position will have excellent organizational skills and strong leadership skills. Minimum Qualifications1. Requires a master’s degree in social work or a related human services field
2. Requires four years of administrative child welfare experience with an MSW or five years of administrative child welfare experience with a master’s degree in a related human services field
Preferred Qualifications1. 3 years of professional experience conducting project management in a public or business organization
2. 3 years of professional experience in the application of the child welfare requirements imposed by the Administration of Children and Families-Children’s Bureau
3. 3 years of experience supervising professional staff in the area of social work in a public or business organization
4. 3 years of professional experience evaluating program performance in a child welfare field in a public or business organization
5. 3 years of professional experience conducting quality review in a child welfare field in a public or business organization
6. 3 years of professional experience serving as a representative of a public or business organization

2. Requires possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to travel
