This is an exciting opportunity to leverage the full potential of Azure to create scalable and efficient backend solutions that will propel our clients to new heights.
As an Azure Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for application design, development, testing, integration, maintenance, sustainment, and delivery of software solutions. You will:
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable backend solutions using Azure services.
+ Design, develop, and maintain APIs, microservices, and serverless functions using Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, and other relevant technologies.
+ Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms, ensuring data privacy and compliance with industry standards.
+ Optimize application performance by leveraging Azure services such as Azure Cache for Redis, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure SQL Database.
+ Monitor and troubleshoot backend systems, proactively identifying and resolving any performance or reliability issues.
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure developments, best practices, and emerging trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
+ Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, tests and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, cloud-based or Internet-related computer programs
+ Use programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance
+ Interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications
+ Take responsibility for data schema standards and procedures, development of logical and physical data models and databases. DDL and DML coding standards, development of data access logic with software packages
+ Conduct a wide range of quality control tests (Unit) and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end user requirement
+ Be responsible for software design; software development using programming languages or other abstractions; coding standards and procedures; debugging/troubleshooting and maintaining computer programs
What You Will Need:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience
+ At least 6 years of relevant experience
+ Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, with a strong focus on Azure development.
+ Hands-on technical expertise developing applications, including the design of the back-end business layer using modern techniques and integrating with data sources in a API-based architecture that is hosted on Azure/AWS Cloud Platform
+ Expertise in API Design patterns and Object-Oriented Design Principles
+ Experience of implementing architectural governance and proactively managing issues and risks throughout the delivery lifecycle.
+ Significant experience in designing and developing software applications using .NET core, C#, Unit Test frameworks, messaging/queue/event platform,
+ Deep understanding of Design patterns, Microservices and SOLID principals
+ Experience with distributed cache platforms such as Redis.
+ Designing API interfaces using Swagger/RAML, understanding of API authorization and access control patterns, familiarity with industry standard API gateway, Microservices development and implementation
+ Proven track record in developing Microsoft Azure PaaS and SaaS solutions using services such as, App Service, Service Fabric, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Notification Hubs, Event Hubs, Cosmos DB, Redis Cache, Application Insights, etc.
+ Experience in development and design in an Agile environment, including change and release management.
What Would Be Nice To Have :
+ Experience with DevOps Pipeline, GIT, JIRA is preferred
+ Masters Degree is preferred
+ Azure architecture and/or developer certification is preferred
+ Platform modernization experience in taking legacy applications to distributed solutions (SaaS, PaaS) is preferred
+ Experience migrating Mainframe and monolithic systems to the Azure Cloud preferred
The annual salary range for this position is $104,200.00-$156,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
