Job Description

Application Development Manager (Accenture LLP; Chicago, IL): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Application Development Manager in Chicago, IL, to work across different stages of Software and Service delivery lifecycle. S/he will perform the following duties: manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope; develop or update project plans for information technology projects, including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing;  develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS); meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems; evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements; establish and execute a project communication plan; maintain applications according to SLAs; research and make recommendations on software products and services for procurement; do feasibility studies for software and system products planned for purchase and give suggestions based on findings; develop, document and revise technical system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards; assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to the team; supervise a team to gather and translate user/system requirements into design specifications; conduct project and issue management (including status reporting, issue reporting, and ETC/budget reporting) for assigned scope of work, and make decisions that impact the team through regular consultation with senior management; and adhere to strategic direction set by senior management.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or Engineering (any), or in a closely related field plus 5

years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as a Software Engineer, Application Development Specialist, or in a related IT position including the following professional experience: 3 years of experience in architecting, designing and developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Model Driven Apps and DataVerse to provide solutions for CRM applications; 3 years of experience in designing and developing with Microsoft Power Platform PowerApps and PowerAutomate for building custom apps for business needs; 4 years of experience in architecting, designing and developing with Azure Cloud technology in Logic Apps, Functions, API Management and Azure Data Factory to build integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications with external systems; 5 years of experience in utilizing, designing and developing with SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint online technology to redesign existing SharePoint custom web applications in Microsoft Power Platform; 5 years of experience in designing, developing with .Net C#, Asp.net and JavaScript to provide customization for Microsoft Power Platform applications; 2 years of experience in utilizing and implementing with DevOps to build GIT code repositories, deployment pipelines and product backlog items for defining requirements in stories and task.

 

Positions are based in Chicago, IL but requires domestic travel up to 75% of an average work week.

 

Telecommuting is permitted for this role, needs to reside within a reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
