Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle’s Cloud organization is expanding its technical customer focused program management team, with the option to be remote or based in one of our various US based HUBS: Downtown Seattle, Austin, Broomfield, Santa Clara or Nashua. The team at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment. We are specifically looking for an experienced and customer centric program manager to join the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Group. You will be responsible managing complex, cross- organizational programs that impact both product and business for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and will have exposure to multiple critical business initiatives. Our team is expanding, and we a strong program management leader is needed.
You will partner with every team in Oracle to make these projects happen. The space is fun, large, cross cutting and complex (truly, complex). You will manage the development and implementation process for all aspects of interdepartmental delivery, plan and direct schedules and drive progress towards the larger goal and vision. PSE – Product and Solutions
Responsible to:
+ Drive rapid customer adoption of IaaS platforms by working directly with customers, and account teams to anticipate customer needs.
+ Own the strategy and the execution plan for the Cloud adoption that is focused on customer excellence.
+ Explain transformational concepts to executive decision makers and influence their technology strategy.
+ Present solutions to customers at multiple levels, from engineers up to CxO
+ Monitor the product/program/project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers on technical matters.
+ Assist in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives for exponential customer adoption on the cloud platform.
+ Develop a passion for educating, training, and enabling cloud solutions experts for a challenging set of customers and circumstances
+ Be the voice of customers to Oracle’s various cloud engineering teams.
Qualifications:
+ 10+ years of experience in an IT, platform environment working with large Enterprises.
+ 5+ years of experience leading infrastructure teams.
+ Significant experience with enterprise IT and networking implementation as well as a working knowledge of security and compliance issues.
+ Ability to create detailed customer engagement plans to keep up with the high velocity of features being delivered on the platform
+ Deep understanding of cloud competitive landscape; customer priorities and challenge.
+ Strong technical acumen, communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Deep experience migrating application portfolios to Cloud.
+ Strong Communication, Presentation, and speaking skills.

Hiring Range: from $87,600 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
