We are looking for a positive experienced people oriented manager to join Lab Compute AMR owning Lab Compute IT operations and lab support for Oregon labs!

As a manager in Lab Compute you would, set priorities, plan through the Agile process, drive results across Oregon working with IT partners, Business Unit Partners and customers, ensure an inclusive work environment, mentor, develop employees, and manage performance. Set future direction for the team, provide day-to-day operational reporting/tracking indicators.

This individual would be responsible for Management of IT and general Lab support for Oregon. Day-to-day functional management of the organization, to include performance management, training/developing, forecasting/reporting, escalation and budgeting/expense control.

With the Lab Compute management team we will work together to provide a cross site standardized lab environment where possible, drive CW pools, work across boundaries and sites, communicate outages, set direction in site lab council meeting, drive lab consolidation as well as drive efficiency in the lab space.

Responsibilities also include:

+ Team management (IT leadership, stakeholder management, and development of a technical team)

+ Lead teams in a 24×7 technology development environment

+ Lead teams working to solve complex problems across functional areas

+ Strong Interpersonal skills

+ IT Technical Leadership

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications

The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 6+ years of experience OR a Master’s Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 4+ years of experience OR a PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 2+ years of experience in:

+ Lab product/domain environments

+ Information technology

+ Lab and team management

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
