Job Description
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has an opening for a Area Product Owner in Chicago, IL. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.
DUTIES: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Communicate the product vision, business needs, strategies, cross-impacts and customer needs to develop software features. Collaborate with the Global Banking Platform architecture and leadership team in shaping the strategic direction based on business intelligence. Negotiate priority of backlog with other business counterparts, to drive business value while delivering product-specific features. Interface with multiple business and product groups to define, groom, and maintain the product backlog, to enable the development team to develop and deploy these features to production. Set priorities for the development teams by managing the product backlog and ensure that the development scrum teams understand and document the business requirements. Brainstorm enhancements utilizing gathered data and dashboards for the vendor product that drives value, and contribute to vendor product backlog and design. Participate in the architecture design and create Sequence Diagrams/Flow Diagrams that depict the functionality for feature development. Organize Account on-boarding and Management platform backlog into Initiatives, Epics, and User stories. Participate in the analysis of development requests as they are requested of the development teams.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus Seven [7] years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Business Analyst, Senior Financial Analyst, or related occupation. Requires experience in the following: Windows; Agile SDLC; Hybrid SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Data Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Apache Kafka; Python; SQL; REST; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; Splunk; Postman; Junit; Functional Testing; Manual Testing; Regression Testing; System Integration Testing; Unit Testing; User Acceptance Testing; White Box Testing; Relational DB, including postgres and cockroach DB. Requires the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Business Analyst Professional.
