Stop Loss Sales Acct Exec Sr – Stand Alone and Bundle Stop Loss Sales

Location: Aligned to an Elevance Health office, with a hybrid work schedule. The ideal candidate would be located in Indiana or Illinois, yet this position will consider other locations for the right candidate.

Responsible for acquiring and renewing Stop Loss sales through brokers and consultants for the states of Indiana and Illinois. This role will also be a resource for assisting the medical sales teams with selling and renewing bundled stop-loss and ASO accounts if/when needed. Our target market is Employers with 500+ employees covered in a self-funded medical plan.

How you will make an impact:

+ Prospects accounts and produces revenue through new and renewal Stop Loss sales.

+ Generates stop-loss RFP activity through sales calls to brokers and consultants.

+ Develops strategies and utilizes selling techniques to acquire new business.

+ Solve client needs through consultative and solution based selling; build relationships with key contacts in territory to identify, develop, and negotiate sales opportunities as well as handling renewal activity.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years of Stop Loss sales experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. Sales license required within 30 days from the date of hire.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

+ Experience and knowledge in healthcare sales supporting large employers/national accounts highly preferred.

+ Experience and knowledge of Employer Stop Loss System his highly preferred.

+ Experience in building strong internal and external relationships with key teams/stakeholders preferred.

+ Experience interacting confidently with senior management and executive level stakeholders, as a subject matter expert and comfortable with influencing decision-making.

+ Excellent written, oral, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office products, MS Teams and Salesforce strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $81,840 to $147,312
