Frontline Genetics LLC located at 221 W. North St. Stronghurst, IL 61480 is seeking 2 temporary full-time Light Truck Drivers to work at 41.066388, -90.926648 Bald Bluff Township, IL MERCER 61442, Davenport-Moline-Rock Island Northwest Illinois nonmetropolitan area West Central Illinois nonmetropolitan area St. Louis Decatur East Central Illinois nonmetropolitan area Danville Madison, WI South Central Wisconsin nonmetropolitan area, and Southeast Iowa Nonmetropolitan Area (MSA) and Lee County from 12/05/23 to 06/30/24 to Drive a light vehicle, such as a truck or van, with a capacity of less than 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), primarily to pick up merchandise or packages from a distribution center and deliver. May load and unload vehicles. Haul UTV in the trailer of a light truck and operate UTV. Basic warehouse duties such as loading and unloading products. Moving products around staging orders and inventory. Must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30-90 days following hire. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs 75 yds and handle extreme temperatures. No prior education or experience is required. On the job, training will be provided.
$23.01/hr. Approx. 40 hours/week, from Monday to Saturday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised. The wage rate may vary on experience and/or merit. $34.52/hr. for overtime. Up to 15 hours of overtime may be available but not guaranteed.
All deductions from the worker’s paycheck will be made as required by law. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages and pay Bi-monthly by check. Any advances will be deducted with the consent of the employee. The employer will provide housing as an option to employees living outside the regular commuting distance. Employees who elect to live in the housing will have an additional $400/bi/monthly deducted Bi-monthly for rent and utilities. Optional daily transportation will be provided from and to the worksite and the employer will deduct $75/bi-monthly.
In the first workweek, the cost of transportation (including meals and to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be directly reimbursed to every worker. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. In the first workweek, daily subsistence for travel to the place of employment will be reimbursed at a rate of at least $15.46/day to a maximum of $59.00/day with receipts. Also, workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
