What You Will Do :
We are currently searching for a Computer Programmer to support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences. This is a full-time, remote opportunity based in Durham, NC.
Responsibilities Include:
+ Serve as a Drupal (9 and higher) developer for NTPs public websites, including NTPs main website, NTP Update newsletter, NTP Annual Report, ICCVAM Biennial Report.
+ Perform technical duties as a developer in the PHP and Drupal 9 and 10 technology areas.
+ Coordinate activities with third parties such as NIEHS System Administration and networking with excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
+ Test and install the software updates.
+ Maintain and follow SOPs, configuration management, upgrades and availability.
+ Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to detail all steps and activities carried out for all aspects of the program data management.
+ Maintains and follow SOP and basic knowledge of usability Section 508 compliancy.
+ Plan, build and maintain applications to meet end users need.
+ Work closely with the Senior OpDev Specialist PHP Drupal; maintain and monitor applications, databases, or software tools; implement improvements to operations; test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
+ Assist with the development and implementation of new or major revisions to applications, databases, or software tools; implement improvements to development activities to speed development of applications, databases, or software tools.
What You Will Need :
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and
+ 7 years experience
+ Drupal Experience

The annual salary range for this position is $66,700.00-$100,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
