This position is a full time position made up of 3-6 month interim travel assignments – not a short term option or temporary contract. We offer competitive pay, weekly stipends and benefits with the exclusion of PTO.

Responsibilities
Assist in directing services, workflow and resources for assigned long-term care nursing area.
+ Assist in developing, organizing and implementing clinical services and programs.
+ Communicate policies, expected outcomes, work routines and work procedures to clinical staff.
+ Assist with implementation and evaluation of quality of care including ongoing auditing of quality indicators.
+ Assist in monitoring nursing budgets. Assist with admissions, discharges and transfer to ensure appropriate care and compliance with State and/or Federal regulations.
+ Manage activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and continuing education initiatives
Requirements
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
+ Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
+ BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in nursing or diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
+ Master’s degree or combination of Bachelor’s degree and experience preferred.
Work Experience:
+ 5 years of experience required.
+ 10 years of experience preferred.
+ 2 years of leadership or management experience required.
+ 5 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
Additional Preferences
+ Long term care experience strongly preferred.
+ Willingness to serve in an interim capacity and travel more than 50 miles from permanent residence to the facility.
