Overview

Group O is searching for an Inventory Associate to join our team! The Inventory Associate role is responsible to develop and drive processes that ensure inventory accuracy, deliver effective property control and report audit activities to support the client requirements.

Responsibilities

Primary Tasks:
  • Supporting organized warehouse layout
    • Resolving inventory putaway location discrepancies
    • Moving inventory between locations
  • Performing inventory audits
    • Conducting cycle counts
    • Conducting bin location audits
  • Resolving inventory discrepancies
    • Investigating inventory discrepancies
    • Managing inventory adjustments
  • Monitoring inventory levels for packaging supplies
    • Reporting discrepancies
  • Identifying and resolving problems in handling and storage of parts

Secondary Tasks:
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work area
  • Finding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost-savings and efficiency
  • Assisting with inventory related to Rework and obsolete kits


Qualifications

Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Skills:
  • Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move and climb mobile safety ladder.

Desired Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Basic user abilities in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn and work with Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) software.
  • Ability to follow work instructions and procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent math skills
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Ability to drive a fork truck.
