As a Facilities TD Instrumentation and Controls Engineer your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

+ Provide leadership and technical resources to support team technicians industrial control system maintenance, troubleshooting, and programming of the existing system.

+ Provide facilities construction support to include design input.

+ Review construction and commissioning of new systems including configuration documentation and implementation of fully integrated control systems.

+ Plan sequence of operations and specifies procedures for cutting shaping and otherwise preparing basic material exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements economic evaluation of methods and operator effectiveness and comfort.

+ Demonstrate the application of engineering principles theories and concepts in the Instrumentation and Controls discipline while knowing other related disciplines.

+ Check and verify instrumentation calculations for control valve flow meters orifices and relief valves as required.

+ Conduct tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature density specific gravity pressure level flow and viscosity.

+ Establish and submit processing requirements to be met in designing and acquiring processing equipment.

+ Respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur; they can be after hours or on weekends.

+ Support engineering team on-call rotational process if needed or applicable. Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgment.

+ Use engineering principles to solve technical problems.

+ Manage significant technical projects from inception to completion.

+ Interact plan and coordinate the activities of electrical, mechanical and chemical, system owners engineers and technicians in support of troubleshooting and/or integrating control changes to their system to achieve the required results.

+ Create system specs standards no-impact plans for PLCs

+ Programmable Logic Controller and Instrumentation and Controls system shutdowns technical training and maintenance procedures.

+ Include measurement of Pressure, Temperature, Humidity, Flow, level, and ultrapure water analytical Instrumentation.

Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Position not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have one of the following:

+ GL56+ currently in TD or MSO w/12+ years relevant technical Intel experience as an Intel employee.

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or other equivalent Engineering fields with 1+ year of experience in Instrumentation Control systems experience.

+ Master’s degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or other equivalent Engineering fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ ISA Certifications and knowledge of industry standards.

+ Experience with: Industrial automation platforms including GE Fanuc Cimplicity and Rockwell Automation Logix PLC products GE Fanuc SCADA systems.

+ PLC systems such as AB PLC5 and/or ControlLogix hardware software and Field control loops.

+ Standard industry communication protocols including Data Highway OPC Ethernet ControlNet and serial.

+ 1+ year of experience in: Technical procedure writing and system ownership experience.

+ Standard industrial Mechanical Electrical, Chemical and Process systems.

+ Developing instrumentation, installation drawings, datasheets, PID,

+ Process Instrumentation

+ Drawings for control systems and PLC-SCADA, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition interface systems in full compliance with recognized industry standards safety standards and client specifications.

+ Developing designing testing and commission new control loop systems.

+ Industry-standard instrumentation devices Including analytical equipment or Instrumentation.
