Job Description
Capgemini America, Inc. (Sogeti division) seeks IT professionals to fill multiple positions in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Entry through Sr. level positions available.
Duties: Perform software development activities for PLM applications and help in other emerging technology engagements. Design and deliver technical solutions for separation, implementation, cloud & upgrade projects, integrations from PDM/PLM to downstream applications and Creation of High-Level Design documents, Technical Design Documents, Data models, governing the data security, Schema design using PLM development expertise. Design and implement PDM/PLM web-based solutions by performing Object Oriented Analysis using various programming languages and technologies such as Java, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Oracle DBMS, Tomcat application server, and PDM/PLM utilities. Develop Business logic/Algorithms for prototypes using the PLM modules and utilities for complex functionalities. Provide demos of the prototype to Functional teams. Perform code reviews and optimization as well as unit testing of developed code, Integration testing, and fixing defects based on priority. Work with the Product development team and participate in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases, facilitate discussions, provide clarification, drive feature refinement, develop production ready builds, conduct testing and validation. Collaborate with subject matter experts/key business users to gather requirement, understand problem statements, identify the design and architectural needs for the High-level design, define CTQs (Critical to Quality) & generated To-Be process maps. Onsite Coordination, assign tasks to team members and make sure they are delivered on time with quality. Train new employees and help organization in PLM pursuits. Utilize experience with Languages: Java, MQL, TCL, SQL, .Net, SQL Stored Procedures; Web Technologies: HTML, JSP, JavaScripts ,Servlets, C#; Web/App Servers: One of the following: Tomee, Web logic, IIS, JBOSS, Chef Server or AWS OpsWorks; Databases: One of the following: Oracle, SQL, My SQL, Microsoft SQL or PostgreSQL; Platforms: Windows, Linux, CentOS; Development Tools: Various modules of DASSAULT Enovia PLM application, Solidworks PDM, Solidworks Manage, Various modules of 3DExperience application, AWS CloudFormation, Chef scripts; Methodologies: Agile(SCRUM) or Waterfall; IDE: Eclipse; and Services and Support Tools : ServiceNow, Symphonysummit, EKL, 3DExperiences Dashboard and Widget configuration.
