Job Description
Consulting Senior Manager with Crowe, LLP (Chicago, IL)
Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.
Responsible for the overall technical approach and design that are consistent with latest industry standards and practices. Review solution designs and create technical and integration designs. Scope requirements and provide complexity estimates. Collaborate with functional counterparts, manage a development team and communicate with the client in technical and non-technical terms. Ownership of technical project delivery in a managing developer role with developer support, code reviews, and code optimization. Technical training and collaboration with recommendations on development patterns and software. Implementation efficiency by accurate design and estimation of technical solutions. Support customer engagement sales cycles, by demonstrating an understanding of the customer’s business requirements and promoting the value proposition of Microsoft D365 FO’s solutions.
This position allows for remote work and reports to the company’s office in Chicago, IL.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, employer will accept an additional two years of experience. Position requires related experience (5 years with Bachelor’s OR 7 years in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: SSRS; SQL; OOPS; X++; C#; Agile; Azure devops; LCS dynamics; Microsoft D365 F&O Developer; Debugging & Troubleshooting; Architecting & designing solutions; System integrations via API & custom web services; Data migration; Developing custom solutions in X++ using extension approach; Identifying & fixing issues leading to slow performance in X++ code.Trace parser; SSMS; Data import & export framework; .Net framework; SysOperation framework; D365 Security; Code review; and Enforcing the X++ coding best practices.
