Job Description
Capgemini America, Inc. (Sogeti division) seeks IT professionals to fill multiple positions in Chicago, IL and various unanticipated sites throughout the U.S. Entry through Sr. level positions available.
Duties: Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects. Lead and guide the work of technical staff. Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects. Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage. Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met. Manage project and operational activities between IS, OPS, Spares, and Logistics, including multiple and/or cross-functional application development, maintenance, and enhancement projects. Prepare technical and functional design specifications, design training strategies, and educate Development Engineering stakeholders with client’s procedural functioning and business rules. Drive engineering change processes and data flow from CAD systems to downstream Product Life-cycle Management (PLM) and Digital Manufacturing Solutions. Lead a team of engineers and software implementation consultants in implementing enterprise systems. Interface with client executives and engineers from various departments related to the product development value chain from engineering to supply chain to manufacturing. Play the role of scrum master for systems development and Deliver scrum master support to multiple project teams through daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and PI demos. Utilize experience with Product Life-cycle Management (PLM): Team Center; Change Management Tools: ServiceNow; Software Development Methodology: PLM and CAD; CAD Tools: Unigraphics (NX); Project and Program Management Tools: MS Project; Data Management and Analytical Tools: SQL, MS Excel.
