Job Description
Atkore Management LLC seeks a Senior Software Developer / Analyst, JD Edwards in Mokena, IL.
POSITION DUTIES: Participate in the development and post implementation support of JD Edwards (JDE) Enterprise One enhancement projects. Perform modifications to existing JDE objects, table conversions/interface development using JDE Development Toolset (Object Management Workbench). Develop JDE APIs using Orchestrator for integrating Web & Portal services. Showcase good Debugging skills using the standard Debug tool and Server Logs. Provide technical analysis and problem resolution to support requests received from system users located in disparate company locations. Translate business requirements into effective technical solutions by presenting development options based on best practices. Produce user documentation for applications developed. Participate in internal Lean and Kaizen events. Help develop and maintain robust test environments and procedures. Provide technical support and mentoring for the JDE Enterprise One tools to other IT staff.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The qualified candidate must have at least a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering or closely related field. The qualified candidate must have at least five years (60 months) of progressive, post-bachelor’s experience with all the following: (a) collaborating with business users to design system solutions to meet business requirements; (b) JDE development including NRE and IT applications development; (c) JD Edwards ERP 9.0 and later development; (d) BSFN programming; (e) Enterprise One Tool set; (f) Software Development Life Cycle; (g) developer unit testing; (h) business functions including C and NER; (i) creating and maintaining interfaces between JDE and other 3rd party software such as Oracle BI Publisher, Bottom Line Create Form, Optio, UPK, PC Miler, and DSI; and (j) warehouse data collection software such as RFE Smart. All experience may be gained concurrently.
