Position Summary
An intermediate level position, which can be attained by an individual proficient in every aspect of the Teller Department. Is cross-trained to perform backroom teller functions, and vault teller functions at branches. Must be able to handle customers effectively and efficiently and with minimal supervision from the Branch Operations Manager. This position requires travel to multiple branch locations within a region and receives an additional $2.00/hour Flex Premium.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
A high level of interpersonal skills necessary to represent the Bank in a positive fashion in dealing with customer/teller transactions.
Capability to relate and empathize with other people and to maintain a friendly cheerful demeanor throughout the day.
Must be proficient in all aspects of Teller duties.
Must have a thorough knowledge of the teller terminal transactions and corrections.
Possess detailed information of all backroom teller balancing and remittance procedures.
Have complete knowledge of the Vault Teller procedures.
May assist other tellers in balancing daily transactions.
Sells License plate stickers and MoneyGram's.
May assist in opening and closing of branch.
Adheres to Code of Conduct and internal controls for which this position is responsible.
Actively complying with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act, the Community Reinvestment Act, and all other deposit, lending, or non-deposit service regulations; adhering to the Bank's internal policies, procedures, and risk management responsibilities contained in the Human Resources Policy and Procedures Manual as well as the Employee Handbook, the Employee Code of Conduct, and other applicable policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge/Abilities/Experience and Training Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Must have 1-2 years teller experience.
Detail oriented with a thorough understanding of the Teller Department.
Versatile and possess excellent communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
Possess leadership and organizational skills and be able to analyze accurately and think quickly
Ability to travel to branches located in Orland Park, Tinley Park and Oak Forest

Employee in this position frequently communicates with staff and clients and must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
Employee may need to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Employee specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
