What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems?
As part of our team, you will:

Analyze and diagnose problems encountered with the Network Operation Center's Support tools or operating system. May require coordination with third party vendors and addressed in off-hours maintenance windows or immediate action based on break-fix priority.
Perform patch management and maintain security hardening and controls for systems and applications. Will include support during upgrade of applications and partnering with various teams to coordinate activities.
Address hypervisor resources and activities as needed within virtual platform environment - mainly Xen hypervisor and HP hardware. Support migrations from bare-metal to VM or CLoud /SaaS solutioning.
Develop automation and other application solutioning to support Operations Support Systems/Business Support Systems as requested by user community.
Follow all Nokia Information Security policies and guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program)
Your skills and experience

You have:
3+ years' experience as a system administrator
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Strong knowledge with Linux operating systems as well as Microsoft OS
It would be nice if you also had:
Prior support of BMC ITSM and IBM Netcool event and ticketing integration is a real plus
Ability to effectively interface with technical and nontechnical staff at organization levels

United States Salary Range: Salary Range*: $ 88,200.00 - $ 163,800.00 USD plus eligibility for incentive/variable pay
