You are an internally recognized expert in process development and process engineering and identify, define and solve complex business problems by applying your broad technical and consumer knowledge and in-depth understanding of manufacturing technology related to Mondelez products. You serve as a senior technical resource for the organization, regularly interacting with senior management.

How you will contribute

You will support development, optimization and specification of processes that deliver consumer benefit through new products, quality improvements and cost savings opportunities. You will develop project objectives, technical approach, project plans, deliverables and timelines to deliver solutions on time and on budget, and execute against these plans, all while providing status updates to stakeholders. As a technical leader for process development and process technologies, you will: continually evolve your business-relevant expertise; define and share technical best practices; influence technical direction for the benefit of the business, and; drive the technical development of people in RDQ through teaching, coaching and mentoring, and identifying future technical leaders.

More about this role:

+ Strategic Planning and leadership for the cluster

+ Develop and execute IIM master plans for the cluster that will enable growth, innovation, and efficiency and promote the rollout of a high-performance work environment:

+ Support the best-in-class technology std and capability (benchmarking conversion costs and technology platforms).

+ Support the engineering project managers and give them proper guidance and coaching.

+ Creation of flexibility and capability with focus on zero losses and 100% engagement:

+ Development and roll-out of standards in cooperation with the regional/global engineering organization. As such drive competitive advantaged cost structures.

+ Development and roll-out of ideas in close cooperation with cross-functional partners on-site and regional level.

+ Support the cluster capital investment initiatives and as such achieve the plant’s Compelling Business Need (CBN) including safety, service, cash flow, productivity, and growth targets.

+ Support cross-functional IIM development and coordination.

+ Support multi-functional teams and task forces of technical functions to drive world-class efficiency and safety.

+ Support projects towards Vertical Start-Up (Support through project life cycle with zero loss mentality when it comes to safety, quality, and efficiency as well as 100% engagement).

Education / Certifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Required

Job specific requirements:

+ 8 years minimum of Project Management experience

+ Worked in a Food Manufacturing environment- preferred

+ 5 years minimum experience in Manufacturing/ Supply Chain relevant experience (plant management)

+ Training and mentoring experience

+ 3 years minimum experience IL6S with focus on IIM (Early Management Pillar)

+ Experience in designing equipment to meet AM and PM standards

+ Ability to work across multiple geographical locations within the region.

+ Flexibility in Working Location driven by the ability to travel.

+ Ability to balance leading edge technology solutions with capital availability, and need for high savings

+ Ability to identify engineering solutions that consider our global network and category position

+ Ability to manage ambiguity and interpret large amounts of information and draw conclusions that support the project scope

+ Ability to think outside of the box and understand the broad category needs

+ Within this role the individual will be working across a matrix organization, and will be expected to work with project teams across countries and a global community. The role will therefore have significant complexity & cultural diversity to manage.
