Dewberry is currently seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our electrical department in our beautiful Peoria, IL office overlooking the Illinois River. Typical projects involve electrical design of educational facilities, institutional buildings, office buildings, health care facilities, public safety facilities, industrial facilities, and electrical evaluations of existing buildings. Current project list includes work in multiple states across the country.

Responsibilities
Individual will work on all phases of electrical engineering design including analysis and design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and possible assistance with other low-voltage systems for buildings, construction document production, including drawings, specifications, estimating, and construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings review.
Required Skills & Required Experience
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with focus in electrical system design.
Enrolled as Engineering Intern in State of Illinois is preferred.
Professional Engineering license is a plus. Ability to become licensed is requried.
2-6 years of experience
Ability to design lighting, lighting controls, power distribution systems and fire alarm systems.
Revit experience is a plus.
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook.
Experience with AGI32, Elumtools (lighting design software) a plus.
Experience with Powertools (power analysis software) a plus.
Technical writing skills is preferred.
Time management skills a requirement.
Strong communication skills.
Ability and desire to work in a team environment.
