 Position Summary
The Coordinator of Events and Outreach, Workforce Development works with the Associate Vice President of Workforce Development and other team members to execute the division's events, outreach, and partnership initiatives. 
 Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

Coordinate event and outreach activities to achieve annual goals and budgets consistent with Workforce Development strategy
Serve as primary MCC lead to coordinate the activities of the Manufacturing Pathways Consortium
Research and identify potential clients and learners within the community for partnership and training opportunities
Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with current clients and partners
Prepare and deliver presentations to potential partners, clients, and key stakeholders
Collaborate with college departments (e.g. Events, Marketing and Public Relations, Academic Affairs, etc.. ) to promote and execute offerings
Participate in community events, as needed, for the purposes of assessing needs of community, evaluating program effectiveness, and marketing
Support internal and external project development and execution
Oversee planning for assigned events
Coordinate and implement all aspects of key events/outreach initiatives
Assist with development of division publications and other ongoing communications
Provide reports to college leadership on the status of ongoing projects
Coordinate the customer relationship management database
Perform general administrative support functions
Provide daily direction to Workforce Division team members as delegated by the AVP related to projects and events
Work collaboratively with others (e.g. clients, partners, colleagues, stakeholders, vendors) to accomplish functions and responsibilities
Assume additional duties as assigned by supervisor  
 Required Qualifications

Associates degree from a regionally accredited institution
Three years experience in event management and outreach activities
Experience implementing large-scale events and/or managing complex projects
