POSITION TITLE: Software Engineers

JOB DESCRIPTION: Multiple openings. Will provide software engineering support in support of Caterpillar’s state-of-the-art digital platform. Will work independently on complex software systems and infrastructure components in support of one or more applications or systems. Will drive application development focused around delivering business valuable features. This includes communicating with end users and internal customers to help direct development, debugging, and testing of application software for accuracy, integrity, interoperability, and completeness. Will perform integrated testing and customer acceptance testing of components that require careful planning and execution to ensure timely, quality results. Will coordinate with business and managed services team to resolve issues from business/applications teams and develop integrated solutions to resolve highly complex technical and business issues. Will load various software data (Java, python and real-time park programming languages) into Caterpillar’s digital software systems. Will design, develop, and maintain project metrics, reports and dashboards to drive key business objectives.
