Dewberry is currently seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our electrical department in our Peoria, IL office. Typical projects involve electrical design and low-voltage technology of educational facilities, institutional buildings, office buildings, health care facilities, public safety facilities, industrial facilities, and electrical evaluations of existing buildings. Current project list includes work in multiple states across the country.

Responsibilities
Individual will work on all phases of electrical engineering design including analysis and design of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and possible assistance with other low-voltage systems for buildings, construction document production, including drawings, specifications, estimating, and construction administration support including project site visits and shop drawings review.
Required Skills & Required Experience
B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with focus in electrical system design
Enrolled as Engineering Intern in State of Illinois is preferred. Ability to become licensed is required
0 - 4 years of experience
Ability to design lighting, lighting controls, power distribution systems and fire alarm systems
Revit experience is a plus
Experience with Word, Excel, Outlook
Technical writing skills
Time management skills
Strong communication skills
Ability and desire to work in a team environment
