Join us!This position is located in Covenant Living's Central Office and is responsible for internal reporting of total organization Actual Results and Projections, as well as involvement with the company's Planning process. The Corporate Analyst, FP&A role provides an overview of the organization's campuses, the organization as a whole, and the opportunity to leverage analytical skills and provide business insight to impact decision making. This position will provide direct financial analysis and planning for several Services entities. In addition, the role will support the Regional FP&A team with analyses and projects related to the the planning/analysis processes of our Continuing Care Communities. This role will be responsible for developing in-depth knowledge of key software tools used by the organization: TM1 planning application, Lawson Dashboard Gear tool for analysis and reporting, and Power BI. Lastly, this position is responsible for preparing ad-hoc analysis that will enable leadership to make insightful business decisions.
Essential Responsibilities
Prepare monthly Total Company reporting and analysis, as well as analysis of campus specific drivers.
Develop in-depth knowledge of TM1 Planning Application, ledger application and Power BI. Develop analytical tools for use by the Regional FP&A team. Will develop analysis and reporting to aid in making business decisions, such as analysis to support central office leaders and Regional FP&A team members. Will draw conclusions from queries to drive business decisions.
Consolidate monthly campus projections, analyze and report on results. Maintain the projection tool model used by all campuses.
Support the actuals analysis, planning and operational analyses of several Services entities (Rental communities), working directly with business leaders.
Support the annual planning process including support of the Regional FP&A team and the Corporate planning process. Assist with report creation, tool creations, analysis and loading plan results to the ledger system and Power BI.
Perform ad-hoc and other strategic analyses to support decision making, including analytical support of the 5-year financial plan and analytical support of select communities (under direction of Regional FP&A)
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting or similar required
CPA or MBA a plus
At least 5 years of related experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or similar discipline
Experience working with a Planning software application, ledger query tools and Power BI, ideally as a power/expert user.
Experience in Health Care, Senior Living or related field (helpful but not required)
High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Financial Systems. Demonstrated experience and aptitude for working with financial systems.
Strong analytical skills and experience supporting business analysis.
Self-starter and independent, with high degree of learning agility. Comfortable working independently and collaborating with Senior leaders.
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple team members, exhibiting a positive attitude and customer-focused demeanor.
Strong attention to detail and proven track record of producing consistently accurate work, while possessing the ability to step back and determine whether outcomes are reasonable.
Strong communication skills (both written and oral, English skills required).
