Job Description
Carelon Medical Benefits Management, Inc. (fka American Imaging Management, Inc.) seeks a Business Information Consultant in Chicago, IL.
Work with customers to understand and document their business needs and construct report and dashboards that meet those requirements. Design dashboards and visualize data to enhance business understanding. Perform end-to-end development of new reports and dashboards and modification of existing reports and dashboards. Design, construct, and maintain data models. Serve as team leader for reporting projects, mentoring and guiding staff in lower job levels. Produce standard reports according to calendar. Investigate business issues and determine best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools. Provide analytic and data consultation to other business areas, leadership, or external customers.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additional requirements: 5 years of experience using QlikView and QlikSense. 5 years of experience manipulating large sets of data; 5 years of experience with relational databases and SQL tools; 5 years of experience utilizing Qlik to create and publish periodic reports for business users; 5 years of experience presenting, communicating results of complex data analysis, and making recommendations; 5 years of experience utilizing data warehouses and/or data marts; 5 years of experience creating data visualizations for reports or dashboards; 5 years of experience performance tuning visualization applications.
