Summary: The Program Coordinator administers daily activities and operations for the Trauma Systems and Injury Prevention team of the Trauma Department. Responsibilities include program, committee, and customer support and communications as well as trauma system consultation logistics and administrative support. This position is responsible for tracking and documentation and creating status reports for multiple projects across the team. Provides support for senior staff and program leadership to keep projects on track and to meet project deliverables. Interacts with committee members, volunteers, and other constituencies associated with projects.
This exempt position will report to the Manager, Trauma Systems and Injury Prevention Programs in the Division of Research and Optimal Patient Care. It is based in our Chicago office and is a hybrid role: 3 days per week in the office/2 days per week remote.
Required Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required.
At least 2-4 years of experience in a professional office environment, including project coordination, administrative support, and/or customer service. Non-profit or association experience is a plus.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Experience with survey software preferred, but not required.
