Job Summary
As part of the Division Management Team (DMT), the Sector Lead will develop and drive strategies that contribute to the top and bottom-line growth of their Sector. This position will lead the financial, business development, operations, and people leader components. This role will need to effectively collaborate and partner with other leaders to drive organizational objectives and consistent practices.
The Sector Lead will lead a team to develop clients at Investor-Owned Utilities (IOU) and Public Power entities to drive a programmatic approach with Patrick's services in Transmission, Distribution, and Renewables. Key services include business planning (business case analysis, revenue requirements and planning, and rate support services); design, analysis, and planning (substation and distribution EPC, distribution planning and analysis, and GIS and Survey services); operation excellence/PMO (project management, business process design, and change management); and Smart "X" (grid modernization, smart city, and renewables). In addition, the Sector Lead will be responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities for services from adjacent Sectors and Divisions as able.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for managing a team within the Sector and adhering to Patrick's Management Expectations for the full employee life cycle (i.e., selection, promotion, assessing employee performance, coaching, etc.)
Set the leadership culture within the Sector with a focus on team performance, continuous improvement, innovation, collaboration, career development, and diversity and inclusion
Sector business plan management (i.e., monthly reviews, quarterly refresh, etc.), which shall be coordinated with others within the DMT team and integrated with the rest of Division's deliverables and activities
In partnership with Division's Director of Strategy and Business Development, oversee Sector Client Account Management including action planning, target setting execution, and routine cadence reviews
Lead in collaboration with Sector team the identification and qualification of targeted clients to support Sector diversification and growth
Develop and manage key teaming partners within Patrick and other firms to support the Sector's strategic objectives
Partner with other leaders in driving organizational objectives and consistent practices
Responsible for creation, implementation, and management of the Sector's strategic business growth, financial, operations, and delivery plan that align with the overall goals of the Division and the Company
Participate with other Division leaders in the creation implementation and management of the overall Division plan
Lead the Sector with proposal strategies and costing, develop and deliver presentations, and broad oversight of program management, construction management, program controls, and other advisory services, as required
Participate with the DMT for division-wide management of initiatives

Professional Requirements
*Bachelor's degree required (discipline in Engineering, Construction Management, Information Technology, Project Management, or equivalent fields of study)
*Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or related discipline a plus
* Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
*10+ years of project/program management or management consulting
*6-10 years of leadership experience managing integrated projects and programs throughout the lifecycle from planning, project delivery, and operations
*5+ years of people/team management including talent development and succession planning
