What You'll Do:
Working under the Data Governance Manager, you will help administer data governance initiatives for Leave Solutions.
Hands-on data stewardship/data curation for Leave Solutions business data, helping to maintain high levels of data governance and quality in our source systems and data lake environments. You live and breathe DATA and do not shy away from the day-to-day effort of working directly with data. You have the tenacity to tackle issues and see them through to their conclusion.
Conduct detailed analyses of data sets within our source systems and data lake environments.
Liaise with Technology Solutions to help identify and oversee governance enhancements to source systems and the data lake platform.
Identify opportunities for improvement throughout the full business process life cycle.
Play an active role in cross-departmental data and system governance committees.
What You'll Need:
Passion in working with and understanding data.
Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years' experience.
Experience in data management, data governance, data quality.
Ability to understand and apply key data governance concepts.
Ability to perform complex data analysis, data profiling and creating recommendations for improving data governance and data quality.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
Extreme attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative and work independently while demonstrating strong teamwork.
Alation or Collibra experience, are a plus.
