Human Resources is staffed with 30 employees.
The Senior HRIS Analyst will be responsible for the technological needs of the Human Resources Department and the HRIS including: all related input, output, and system access. The position will work with system's users throughout the corporation to increase efficient use of the HRIS, act as a change agent to advocate paper process reduction and HRIS enhancements, troubleshoot human resources information related issues, train users of the HRIS system, and provide first level support for all hardware and software within the Human Resources Department. Develop and monitor procedures for HRIS operations including: data entry, reports, extracts, and interfaces. Monitor and maintain the HRIS to ensure integrity of data, system security and control procedures, and the HRIS report library. Develop and run ad hoc reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools. Provide first level support for all hardware and software used by the HR department as well as first level and functional support for all users of the HRIS system throughout the corporation. Partner with end-users to understand and analyze complex business problems and define business needs for new and/or enhanced products, services, or optimized business processes using best practices. Facilitate needed changes to increase operational efficiency and resolve issues. Participate in the development and business analysis of HR department systems and work with Information Technology to develop, install, and test system changes to HR department software. Perform other related duties as assigned to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Computer Science, Information Systems OR in lieu of specified degree any combination of education and experience may be substituted for the required degree that equals four (4) years in HRIS systems and business processes.
In addition to #1, must have five (5) years of experience working with a HRIS system and in business processes.
Must have specialized training in systems analysis and design techniques with special emphasis on business methods.
Project management experience, preferably with a HRIS system.
Experience with computer hardware issue resolution.
Considerable knowledge of Client/Server payroll/HR systems.
Considerable knowledge of system security, data integrity, and testing protocols.
Considerable knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques.
Considerable knowledge of business objectives, processes, and methods as they relate to HR.
Considerable skill creating complex queries and reports.
Strong verbal and written communications skills in order to explain intricate job-related processes.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite specifically Excel and Access, SQL Query, and other database software.
Ability to manage HRIS projects.
Ability to create and maintain detailed procedures for all HRIS functions.
