We are currently seeking a Wealth Planner that partners with Private Bankers and Wealth Advisors to develop financial plans that provide honest, objective, and relevant advice based upon a comprehensive planning process. This may include reviewing plans completed by Private Bankers or Advisors, assisting them to create and present plans to clients, and creating plans independently. The Wealth Planner serves as an advocate for planning and is a subject matter expert in one or more areas of wealth planning. The Wealth Planner assists each Private Banker or Wealth Advisor to provide relevant objective advice to clients and prospects.
Key Accountabilities
Create and Deliver Plans to Clients
Partner with the Private Bankers and Wealth Advisors in a consultative process with the client, to better understand the client's current financial situation, goals, priorities and concerns and to assist with determining the most appropriate planning delivery.
Review and, where needed, assist, with the development of high quality and objective plans by the Private Bankers and Wealth Advisors in the Mass Affluent and Affluent segments. Such plans may include Retirement needs
Insurance needs
Income tax strategies
Social Security
College education costs
Long-term care insurance
Create and, together with the Advisor, deliver comprehensive, holistic, and integrated complex plans that are tailored to the client's unique situation and goals, focusing on the following areas in the High Net Worth segment:
Cash flow and lifestyle planning
Executive compensation
Philanthropy
Estate and wealth transfer planning
Business transition planning
High-end tax planning
Partner with Advisors
Attend client meetings to gather client information and present plans to clients, in partnership with Private Bankers or Wealth Advisors.
Create and implement client presentations focused on subjects affecting clients in partnership with Private Bankers and Wealth Advisors.
Focus on improving client satisfaction and retention and prospect for new clients.
Operational Oversight
Stay abreast of changes in financial laws, strategies, and opportunities that can apply to client situations and incorporating these into new financial plans.
Leader in instilling a culture around goals-based planning.
Provide a framework for financial plans, including templates and defaults that assist the user in creating consistent assumptions and recommendations for clients throughout the footprint as needed.
Review each financial plan in personal book of business to make sure it is complete accurate, compliant with current legal regulations, ONB standards, and industry guidelines.
Monitor the planning process and make improvements and updates as needed.
Create and manage workflow to assess the progress of plan delivery.
Coordinate development for new projects relating to financial planning.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree required.
CFP, JD, CPA, or similar preferred.
Years of Experience: 5+ years in financial, tax, and/or estate planning related work.
Significant experience working with financial planning software, eMoney and/or MoneyGuidePro preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex planning topics in an easily understandable manner.
Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail, as well as organizational and time management skills.
Ability to develop relationships with other professionals in the community.
