Grubhub Holdings, Inc. seeks Sr. Analyst, Finance in Chicago, IL.
Duties: Analyze third party transaction data to become the expert on competitors’ diner behavior, including order frequency, diner retention, and diner tenure. Analyze third party subscription data to become the expert on competitors’ subscription programs, including partnerships with credit card companies, streaming services, etc. Monitor competitors by checking their websites/apps frequently, searching for news articles and press releases, and attending their earnings calls. Create Tableau dashboards to visualize competitor data and publish so that other departments can interact with the dashboards. Create slides for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews that contain the latest competitor data. Collaborate with Growth Marketing team on ways to improve Grubhub’s subscription program to encourage more paid. members and capture a higher share of Grubhub diners’ orders. Oversee the daily creation of team’s custom tables in data warehouse and kick off manual creation if automated creation fails. Telecommuting permitted within MSA.
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Engineering Management, Computer Engineering, or related quantitative, analytical fields, plus 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Process Analyst, Data Analyst or related role.
Requires 4 years of experience in each of the following:
-Data cleansing with SQL
-Data wrangling with complex SQL queries
-Presenting data and information
Requires 2 years of experience performing calculations and creating exhibits in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
Requires 1 year of experience in data visualization with Tableau.
