What You Will Do :
The DevOps Tools Engineer will oversee our suite of internal tools hosted on AWS, ensuring optimal performance, Security, and integration. The role involves managing tools like Splunk, Jenkins, Jira, and Bitbucket within the AWS environment, integrating them seamlessly, and supporting our development teams. A balance of technical expertise and effective communication is essential, especially around cloud operations.
+ Tool Maintenance & Management : Administer, maintain, and support tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, Seeker, Coverity, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Nexus, and Rundeck. Ensure high availability and performance of the Tools, conducting regular system upgrades as necessary.
+ Integration & Automation : Integrate tools to automate workflows and processes to improve developer efficiency and system cohesion. Collaborate with Development teams to understand and cater to their tooling needs.
+ User Management & Support : Manage user roles and permissions across Tools, ensuring proper access control. Support internal teams, addressing issues, questions, or concerns related to the tooling.
+ Documentation & Training : Develop and maintain tool configuration, Processes and best practices documentation. Conduct training sessions or workshops for internal teams on tool usage and best practices.
+ Monitoring & Security : Monitor tools for anomalies or issues, ensuring swift resolution. Implement security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and safeguarding data

What You Will Need :
+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
+ 4 years of experience administering and maintaining developer or operations tools.
+ Strong familiarity with tools such as Splunk, Seeker, Coverity, Jenkins.
+ Proven experience in automating workflows and integrating diverse systems.
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, primarily AWS.
+ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, predominantly Linux infrastructure
+ Experience scripting or coding in languages like Python, Bash, or Groovy.
+ Effective communication abilities, both written and verbal.
+ A team-player mindset with a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
What Would Be Nice To Have :
Experience in working with monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Splunk, and Zabbix.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Zabbix, Nexus, and Rundeck.
The annual salary range for this position is $89,100.00-$133,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
