In this role, you will be part of the Infrastructure team, which ensures the stability, availability, and high performance of the IT infrastructure that serves Nokia's entire workforce and upholds the technology for almost every interaction of the company's business. At IT Infrastructure, we set up, maintain, and optimize Nokia's enterprise computing and networking capabilities.

What you will learn and contribute to
As an NSA System Admin, within the Nokia Cloud Engineering & Operations team, the candidate will be part of the IT service delivery professionals responsible for delivering reliable and predictable IT services including servers, storage, database, virtualization, SAP, Windows technologies, and Cloud infrastructure. The candidate will also support NSA engineering and workloads for on-prem and Google Cloud.

As part of our team, you will:

Perform Sys Admin tasks for NSA Retained workloads

Perform routine Backup/Restore operations to ensure the continuity of our NSA resources

Support migrating our Enterprise Compute workloads from on-prem to Google Cloud

Support security operations for NSA environment
Provide Systems Administration support for a variety of OSs: Linus (RedHat, SuSe), MS Windows, and Solaris. This includes debugging and troubleshooting.
Provide support for virtualized environments including Linux virtualization technologies; VMware products (vSphere, vCenter), esxi, Solaris Zones
Provide support for Hardware, includes working with 3rd party vendor
Provide support for File Server and Storage Administration especially with NetApp products - both hardware and Data ONTAP software.
Support system backups both on-Prem and in the Cloud.
Support RedHat Satellite
Support System Migrations/Integrations. May include migration from On-Prem DC to another DC location or to the Cloud
Support a 24x7 mission critical NSA environment
Be available on call when required (Rotational)
Your skills and experience
You have:
NSA Certified (US citizen or Permanent Resident)
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a technology-related field
3+ years' experience as a system administrator
Experience with server and database backup technologies
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Strong knowledge with Linux operating systems as well as Microsoft OS and Solaris
Experience with NFS and CIFS/SMB
Experience Scripting (UNIX, shell, Perl, etc).

It would be nice if you also had the following:
Broadly understand data center facilities, cloud server farms, data backup systems, server, storage, database, network, and infrastructure management services.
Knowledge of Cloud operations and deployments
Experience with SAP, Unix, Linux, Microsoft Technologies, enterprise storage, networking, and cloud environment (Azure, AWS, & Google)
Data center migration, either to on-prem or cloud
Working on a global team
Working knowledge of NSA, SOX, and ISO compliance
Database admin experience
Experience implementing controls ensuring Compliance with policies and guidelines
Experience with High Availability / Clustering
