Job Description
Our client, a manufacturer of plumbing equipment, seeks an experienced welder (MIG & TIG).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience welding in industry (after schooling)
- Prior welding certification (AWS, ASME, etc.)
- Proficient with TIG and MIG (Short and Spray-Arc) welding. MIG Pulse-Arc is a plus
- Experienced with Carbon and Stainless Steel. Experience with other alloys is a plus
- Familiar with different joint set-ups including with and without backing, use of gas backing, and back-gouging/back welding
- Experienced with fabrication, meaning joint preparation, bevel, and fit-up as well as cutting parts, tacking, grinding, and light assembly
- Prior pipe welding, full penetration welding, and/or fabrication a STRONG PLUS
- Capable of reading and understanding design prints and weld maps
