Senior Communication Content Consultant - Creative Resources
Creative Studio: Content
Location: Virtual
Experience: 7+ years
Join our team of Communication Consultants. We're passionate about creating intuitive, actionable, consumer-grade experiences that help people make smart benefits choices.
Write about a wide variety of topics including healthcare, wellness, retirement, total rewards, benefit plan changes, pay and incentive programs, and recruiting
Engage as a client-facing content expert, proficient in content strategy and development-especially digital marketing
Experience managing variable messaging/fields/requirements
Flex between leading others and writing, owning the content development process, and ensuring a balance between the user experience and the desired business outcomes
Collaborate on many multi-disciplinary client teams comprised of account managers, benefits experts, strategists, creatives and project managers
Support the Creative Studio in keeping up with user trends, market demands, and best practice development and delivery
Leadership team and/or people management experience a plus
Establish and apply a broad understanding of Alight's core businesses, technology, products and offers
Required skills, experience and technical knowledge
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating creativity as well as HR/benefits expertise
Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated ability to write and guide others to write compelling communication materials for a variety of audiences and media
Experience managing complex web content, UX focus or writing video scripts is a plus
Comfortable engaging with and presenting to clients
Able to contribute to content strategy development and own and lead complex deliverables and campaigns
Able to assimilate source materials, input from subject matter experts and other relevant documentation to create strategic recommendations and content
Able to understand role on project/team, while going beyond to add value
Able to collaborate efficiently and effectively with clients and colleagues
Accountable for assignments/projects to ensure they're delivered with excellence and profitability
Demonstrated experience in coaching, leading and/or managing people
Able to partner with subject matter experts from other lines of business
Can learn and apply new technologies
Software fluency, including the Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Demonstrated presentation, business development and selling skills
Flexibility to travel a couple of times per year
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Education, Marketing or related field
Master's degree a plus
